We are back and catching up! Thanks to all who have and are trying to get their groups together for a class. We will be at the Green City Market in Lincoln Park on Saturday, September 11th if anyone would like to stop by and talk personally. We will be giving a brief demonstration at 9:30 on the South end of the market. Hope to see you there!

We have been extremely busy this month and will be out of town and out of touch until August 27th! We are scheduling classes for September and are available on Saturday and evenings. Saturday’s are filling fast! If you have a date and time that you would like to reserve please send us an email at info@theGlassRooster.com. Please include your name, contact info and address of host kitchen with the date and time preferred and we will do our best to hold it!

We will have more info posted the first part of September! If you would like to post your information on our “contact us” page, please do so as all information will remain private and will not be posted unless it is a general comment or story about your canning experience!

As many know, I am a grad student and am finishing up before taking the summer to really get the Glass Rooster off the ground, so to speak. I am excited about all of the possibilities and am ready to help others that are involved in the “food movement” here in Chicago.
